Description
A combination of editor, project manager, writer and communications strategist, the Editorial & Special Projects Manager works with the Director of Messaging and the Director of Public Relations to ensure that all external communication from GLAAD is consistent with organizational messaging standards and practices. The Editorial & Special Projects Manager also supervises long- and short-term projects that relate to building internal capacity and strengthening organizational infrastructure for GLAAD’s Media Programs.

Supervision The Editorial & Special Projects Manager has a dual reporting relationship to the Director of Messaging and the Senior Director of Media Programs. The position does not have any direct full-time employees but does supervise volunteers, interns and/or fellows as required.
Compensation Salary is commensurate with experience.
