Statement from GLAAD President Neil G. Giuliano on the
death of Rodger McFarlane

May 18, 2009, New York, NY - “Rodger dedicated his life to being a visible and vocal advocate for social justice. His work propelled our movement toward full equality in tremendous ways, his compassion and unique humor will be missed and never matched,” said Neil G. Giuliano, President of the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). “Personally, as a friend, I will remain ever thankful for Rodger’s support and guidance in helping me advance GLAAD’s mission and strengthening our voice.”
