Yale Divinity School Posts "It Gets Better" Video

Yale Divinity School has joined the It Gets Better Project.
Their video, posted on May 20, shares the stories of students who struggled to come out or live openly as LGBT people because of their religious upbringing. Many are now working toward becoming ordained in order to create the open and welcoming religious communities they were unable to find as younger people.
These students’ stories remind us that religion does not have to be a barrier to living openly as an LGBT person; many traditions, churches, and individuals are welcoming and inclusive. GLAAD commends the Yale Divinity School for adding its voice in support of the It Gets Better Project and LGBT equality.
