More than 1,500 New Yorkers gathered today in Manhattan to mourn the death of a 32 year-old gay man, who was shot down on Friday just blocks away from the historic Stonewall Inn in an apparent act of anti-gay bias.
Facebook Removes NOM-ified Logo

Today, Facebook removed from its website a version of its logo, which the National Organization for Marriage had photoshopped to incorporate its own logo, in a clear violation of the site's brand resource terms (not to mention various copyright/trademark laws.)
We'd like to thank all of you for contacting us, and we'd like to thank Facebook for making sure this misappropriation didn't last very long. It's thanks to your keen eyes and strong voices that nobody will get the false impression that Facebook has allied itself with NOM.
