On Sunday night at the 22nd Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles, Glee and Modern Family tied to take home the award for Outstanding Comedy Series. Joel McHale, from NBC's hit series Community, presented the award which was accepted by Chris Colfer and Mike O'Malley on behalf of Glee, while Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Julie Bowen and Ariel Winter accepted for Modern Family.

The Los Angeles ceremony was hosted by Parks and Recreation stars Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones.

The final GLAAD Media Awards event will take place in San Francisco on May 14 at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. The New York GLAAD Media Awards were held on March 19 at the Marriott Marquis Times Square.
