More than 1,500 New Yorkers gathered today in Manhattan to mourn the death of a 32 year-old gay man, who was shot down on Friday just blocks away from the historic Stonewall Inn in an apparent act of anti-gay bias.

In this season five opener, secrets are exposed as the friends figure out that Barney and Robin are a couple and Ted freaks over his first lecture at Columbia as a professor. Hopefully by the time this airs, Barney’s portrayer, Neil Patrick Harris, will be an Emmy winner for the role!

It’s a packed season four opener with Claire getting attention at college after a strange death. Maybe her new lesbian roommate, Gretchen, can help her out? Elsewhere, Angela is worried that Nathan will figure out that he is really Sylar, Tracy and Noah team up, and Peter is asked for help.
8:00 pm Dancing With the Stars, ABC (2 hrs) SEASON PREMIERE
16 celebrities, the largest cast ever, will try to master the art of dance as the ninth season opens. Donny Osmond, Melissa Joan Hart, Michael Irvin, Chuck Liddell, and Aaron Carter are amongst the competitors. Openly gay choreographer Bruno Tonioli returns to judge.

Season six opens with House being held against his will in a mental hospital. A crafty plan of escape is quickly drafted by House, his roommate Alvie and a visitor named Lydia. Will House escape intact?

The kids are all grown up as they begin college. Blair finds NYU not exactly the same as her Upper East Side private high school but Dan and Vanessa adjust just fine. Meanwhile Serena and Chuck have an altercation and Nate and Bree pursue a relationship regardless of the costs.
