More than 1,500 New Yorkers gathered today in Manhattan to mourn the death of a 32 year-old gay man, who was shot down on Friday just blocks away from the historic Stonewall Inn in an apparent act of anti-gay bias.

This unique documentary tells the story of Kate Fleming and Charlene Strong and the powerful love they shared for ten years. After Kate's death, Charlene was instrumental in getting Washington state to pass equality legislation. This is a universal story about love, dignity and fighting for what is right.
Directed by David Rothmiller and produced by LD Thompson, this very special screening is made possible by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, with co-sponsoring by Honor PAC, the Jordan-Rustin Coalition and API Equality.
