More than 1,500 New Yorkers gathered today in Manhattan to mourn the death of a 32 year-old gay man, who was shot down on Friday just blocks away from the historic Stonewall Inn in an apparent act of anti-gay bias.

Last night, Queer Lounge hosted GLAMDANCE, an incredible event featuring the musical stylings of fashion designer Richie Rich and MySpace sensation Tokyo Diiva. The two brought the house down with their performances -- and treated the capacity crowd to an impromptu sing-off!
First up in the night was the fabulous Tokyo Diiva.
Then came the wonderful Richie Rich.
And then... THE CONTEST! Richie announced he'd award two tickets to his Heatherette fashion show during New York Fashion Week in February -- but to win the tickets, an attendee had to win the crowd over with his or her talent.
