More than 1,500 New Yorkers gathered today in Manhattan to mourn the death of a 32 year-old gay man, who was shot down on Friday just blocks away from the historic Stonewall Inn in an apparent act of anti-gay bias.

Synopsis: Though it may have taken a beating in our post-9/11 society, the First Amendment remains one our most cherished, core tenants, even though we may not always like the things it guarantees others the right to say. This documentary explores both the Amendment’s history and several contemporary cases, including that of a young boy fighting for the right to wear a shirt in school bearing anti-gay scripture.
