More than 1,500 New Yorkers gathered today in Manhattan to mourn the death of a 32 year-old gay man, who was shot down on Friday just blocks away from the historic Stonewall Inn in an apparent act of anti-gay bias.
Lance Dances into the Finals!

Lance Bass, the first openly gay competitor on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, has made it into the finals!
The 
online boards were abuzz after Monday night's show, giving rave reviews of his performance and complimenting his ability to keep going despite losing his shoe during one of the dances. On Tuesday night fan predictions were confirmed when Lance officially earned his slot in the finals. Particularly of note is that Lance came out on top this week, beating all other competitors -- including regular winner Brooke Burke!
We'll definitely be watching the final dances Monday (8 PM) and elimination Tuesday (9 PM), and hope all of you will too!
