More than 1,500 New Yorkers gathered today in Manhattan to mourn the death of a 32 year-old gay man, who was shot down on Friday just blocks away from the historic Stonewall Inn in an apparent act of anti-gay bias.

Fresh off the presses: HBO's True Blood and TNT's Raising the Bar have each received orders for second seasons. True Blood, as we have discussed before (click here for the blog entry) features a gay man and pansexual vampires. Raising the Bar includes a closeted gay character, Charlie. Continuing LGBT content in cable is always good news to us!
